Design and delivery of lighting fixtures for the renovation of the city stadium in Giżycko.
The Municipal Stadium in Giżycko required a modern lighting system that would replace worn-out and ineffective metal halide fixtures. The key requirement was to achieve an average intensity of 500lx while maintaining high uniformity, which would allow evening matches and training to be played in optimal conditions all year round.
The project assumed the use of existing lighting masts, which required precise calculation of light distribution to minimize the 'shadow' effect on the turf. Thanks to advanced DIALux simulations, our engineers selected narrow-beam optics that focus the light precisely on the playing field, while limiting the so-called light pollution in the stadium surroundings.
APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
The heart of the installation are high-performance luminaires designed especially for sports facilities. They are characterized by a high color rendering index, instantaneous ignition and precise optics allowing the light stream to be directed exactly where it is required.
